Update :)

Hey all!

I am so sorry that I haven't posted in forever, but I have been so busy! First it was Christmas, then my birthday, then my Nanna's birthday, then my dad's, and now it's Mother's Day tomorrow! Hopefully once everything settles down I will be able to write some more posts!

Anyway, I thought that I could tell you some of the creative things I have been getting up to? (I do a lot of nail art, so that is mostly what the pictures will be of!)

And yes, this is only SOME of the things I have been getting up to!

I'll post more soon! :)

October

Hey guys!

I haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd give it a go and write something now before I forget.

October is going to be so busy! On Monday the 7th is one of my bestfriend's birthday, on the 14th I've got to have an injection, on the 17th is my other friend's birthday, and finally it's Halloween on the 31st! Which also happens to be my mum's birthday!

For my bestfriend's birthday I decided I'd make her a card since I haven't much money at the moment so I haven't bought her very much.

She is I guess what you'd call a lightweight goth, and is into all the gothic clothing and bands like Black Veil Brides. So for her card I thought I'd print out some small pictures of her 3 favourite bands; Evanescence, Black Veil Brides and surprisingly, One Direction. Once i'd done that I laid them out on a peice of card, moving them about and layering them until I liked the design. I then used double sided stickytape to atick them down. (You could use glue if you wanted) I then got another peice of card the exact same size and cut a rectangle hole about 1 1/2 inches smaller on the inside and stuck it over the top. I then got some stick on gems and put them on where I thought looked nice. I also got a silver pen and drew some patterns on the top card. Done!

I think it looked quite pretty, and I think she'll really like it. I'll put some photos up tomorrow if I remember!
And, by the way, Asda have some awesome Halloween stuff if you want to check it out! I love Halloween!

Hair

Hey guys!

I just thought I might update you on the hair front.
After being washed twice, the blue colour turned green, and stayed in my hair for about three more washes. Now it's completely gone and my ends are now the blonde colour; from the bleaching at the start.

I hope you found all this useful!

Hair that's...well... hairy - The results!

WOOOOOOOOOP WOOOOOOOOOOP!

Well, after taking a whole evening of me and my mum both trying to bleach and colour the ends of my hair, it finally came out blue!

But, the thing is, the packet said "electric" blue. And although I love and prefer the way it came out to the colour on the packet, it didn't come out that bright. It actually came out "sea" blue, so I look like a mermaid! I think it looks awesome! I've had loads of compliments about it already, so it must have come out well!

As I promised yesterday, here are some before and after photos:

So, as you can see, it came out more of a light bluey green as opposed to a bright blue. On the photos it looks lighter and more grey than it is in real life. But i'm really happy with the results, and that's all that matters! (By the way, I got both the highlighting kit and the dye from Superdrug)

Hair that's... well... hairy

Helloooo!

I know I haven't posted in what seems like forever, but I've been so busy! It's the summer hols now though, so hopefully I will have more time.

I don't have any tutorials to show you lovely lot at the moment, but there is something I'm going to review for you all.

Since it's the summer I decided to do something with my hair, so I decided to dip dye the ends. I'm not allowed "un-natural hair colour" at my school so just before I go back to school I'm going to have a hair cut so they can chop off the dyed bits. Now, I've never dyed my hair before so I'm hoping it goes well! Lots of my friends have had it done; mostly pink, purple, red or blonde. I'm a brunette and I decided to dip dye mine electric blue! I'm so excited, I hope it comes out right!

I'm going to be bleaching the ends first so the colour comes out brighter and that means that even if the blue colour doesn't show up, i'll still have blonde dip dyed ends!

What i'm going to do is review the products I will use. I'm dying it tonight when my dad's gone out, so then my mum can help me with it with no interruptions.

The bleach i'm using is part of a highlighting kit, just because it was easier using the bleach from that than buying some seperate.  The kit is called "Perfect Blonde (Créme) Highlight Kit" by Lóréal Paris.

The blue i'm going to use is "Smart Colour Electic Blue Semi-Permanent Hair Colour" By Smart Beauty.

I'll post back later with the results and a before and after! Really excited now!

Fathers Day

It's Fathers Day tomorrow! 16th June 2013!
If you're wondering what last minute things to make for your dad, here's the perfect thing to make!

It's extremely easy to make, and you can write inside whatever you want. I put things like 'He's awesome' 'He's funny' 'He's kind' and things like that.
All you have to do is create little squares of paper (or card) in the same colour ranging from dark to light. Or you could do rainbow colours if preferred.
Then, write your sayings, cut them out, punch a hole in the top left hand corner and tie through a pretty ribbon.

Done!

It's a really cute prezzie for your dad to open on Fathers Day, something homemade is always better than something bought. (Although they are nice too)
I hope you found this useful!
